Definitions
 
Grief:                   The internal, automatic, unlearned response to loss.
 
Mourning:            “Going public” with your grief – in the presence of others.
 
Denial:                 A gift that gives us time to gather internal and external
                             resources to confront the enormity of our loss.
 
Creating A Plan: Choose to consciously participate in your own transformation.

Consciously Participate in your own Transformation:  activities to consider
 
1.     Walk outside by yourself for 15-30 minutes, 3-5 times a week.  Your goal is to “simply” notice life.
2.     Right after you wake up and before you go to sleep write five words that describe emotions you are

3.     Get a massage.
4.     Consciously drink plenty of water.
5.     Sleep, sleep, sleep.
6.     Find a good therapist. 
7.     Join a support group.
